Louis Chenevert’s success is leadership has significantly been admired by many of his peers and colleagues. Louis believes in learning then implementing whatever has been acquired. He started working as a business person in Canada, and he has continually been in the process of rising upward since he graduated from college.

Louis was born in 1959, and the great success in his life is accompanied by various recognitions such as the doctorate award from HEC Montreal in 2011. Additionally, he was presented with the National Building Museum award when he was elected to the position of CEO at United Technology Corporation. He was also recognized as one of the most successful people by the Space Technology Magazine.

For him, success has been part and parcel of his life, and he has always worked hard to ensure that he discharges his duties to clients and subordinates in a manner that can be appreciated. In the course of his life, he was able to learn a fundamental lesson, and that is the importance of every person in life. As a result, his tenure at UTC is associated with the greatest success for any company in the field of aero technology.

Most people were disappointed by his resignation from the position of CEO at United Technology Corporation after only four years of service. Louis Chenevert has been able to work in different departments within UTC, and as a result, he was able to understand the greatest needs of the company, and what needed to be implemented to ensure that success is achieved.

Louis took up the position of president and CEO in 2008. After two years, he rose a rank higher and was appointed to the position of chairperson. Since March 2006, Louis worked as the operations manager for the company. Before joining United Technology Corporation, Louis worked at Pratt and Whitney Canada since 1999 until 2006.

Additionally, he worked as the Production manager at General Motors. Louis is the chairperson of Business Roundtable Management Committee, and in addition to that, he is also a member of the US-India CEO Forum.
